What to Expect

What is included?

Our music therapists start with an assessment, which evaluates well-being, social functioning, communication abilities, and cognitive skills through musical responses. From there, you and your music therapist build a plan for treatment, including ongoing sessions, evaluation, and follow-up.

Where do music therapy services take place?

Music therapy services are provided in our clinic space (7502 Madison Avenue in Indianapolis) or in a space arranged by our team and you (home, community location, facility, church, day program, etc.). Since we provide person-centered music therapy, we meet you where you are most comfortable.

How is music therapy funded?

Music therapy services can be funded by private pay or through the Medicaid Waiver. Session delivery and documentation are included in our rates.

Kind words from a music therapy client’s parent…

“Our therapist has been a joy to work with over the past year. She engages with my daughter at each session and my daughter looks forward to her time with her each week. She is able to relate to her and has made her excited to learn more about music. She is consistent and fun at each session and treats all of our family members (including pets) with kindness and respect.”
