Natasha Thomas
MUSIC THERAPIST
Natasha Thomas (Dr. T, they/she + any neo- pronouns offered with respect) is a Black, Queer, Disabled child of Caribbean immigrants; or, as they sometimes put it, a “descendent of shipwreck and volcano,” on multiple Indigenous lands. She holds a PhD in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University and conducts arts-based & community-engaged research in the American Midwest. Natasha serves on the steering committee for the Black Music Therapy Network and co-facilitates the Black Creative Healing project. They work with those who are ready to transform, in any capacity that nourishes and sustains the many communities that hold us.
